Mindfulness for Chronic Back Pain Course

This course introduces you to mindfulness practice and it’s amazing potential to reduce chronic back pain.

You will be introduced to the scientific evidence and neuroscience mechanisms of the benefits of using mindfulness for chronic back pain.

Once enrolled, you will be able to watch all the video’s, in this course, at your own pace.

Also, this course provides you with guidance on how to use various methods of mindfulness.

Mindfulness Course

Engage in our self-paced course designed to help you manage and reduce chronic back pain using mindfulness techniques.

Group Course

Participate in our live, interactive 6-week program that offers evidence-based strategies for managing chronic pain.

The Pain Reframe Group Course  is our most comprehensive course, combining the latest, evidence-based, information and self-help techniques for chronic back pain.  Over  6 weeks you will learn how to better manage your back pain from the convenience of your own home.

The Pain Reframe group course is presented in six live, online, group video calls (1.5 hours per week scheduled time).

You will be guided through strategies to take control of your chronic back pain including stretching, mindfulness, pacing (to avoid “boom and bust”!)  and learning pain science.

Pain Reframe has been created by Nick Steele and Jessica Steele

Nick Steele

Director|Clinician|Presenter  MSc Osteopathic Medicine, BSc Clinical Science, Registered Osteopath. Nick Steele is a registered osteopath and has been working with people in pain for over 20 years. Pain Reframe is the information and skillset Nick wishes he could give to all people who suffer with persistent or recurrent back pain. 

Jessica Steele

Course Co-ordinator, Programme Research & Development PhD, BSc (Hons) Sociology Dr Jessica Steele (PhD) has a background in sociological research & teaching including working on projects focused on health and illness. Following her own experience with persistent pain she has first hand experience of utilising the information and skill set provided by the Pain Reframe course and, like Nick, wants to share this information with people experiencing chronic pain.
